Fun cooking class, great food

We loved Fernando's cooking class. The classroom is actually in the market and you start by doing a market tour and brief explanation. You also have the chance to buy Saffron and Paprika so that you can make paella at home. You make 3 dishes (and Fernando makes a dessert for you to enjoy). Everything was very clear, Fernando was engaging and very informative. He pointed out particular steps that might be challenging at home and encouraged everyone to try the recipes soon after returning from traveling. I feel confident that I can make the dishes at home and am looking forward to trying them next week. I really liked that you were able to learn Paella as well as tortilla, as those were two dishes I really wanted to learn. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone in the Madrid area.
